Autism at Face Value Game-A-Thon Fundraiser

Game-A-Thon Fundraiser to be held at The Rage Room-York April 27th

By The Rage Room York April 11, 2025

Join Autism at Face Value (AFV) on Sunday April 27th for an epic tabletop gaming event hosted by The Rage Room - York. AFV is a York PA based nonprofit organization that is always excited to explore tools that help autistic individuals living in Central PA connect, grow, and understand themselves (and each other) better.

Prepare for games, food, local artists, and a whole lot of fun. RPG tabletop gaming events led by certified Game Masters will start at 1PM and 4PM. The Rage Room-York is sponsoring the drag king Beau Dacious to participate in the 1PM RPG. Other games, a vendor show, and a carnival of party games will also be happening, thanks in part to the Peaceful Partners Salon, who is hosting a Spring Fling Vendor show from 10-2. AFV is also providing entertainment in the form of the singing duo Sirens and Liars. The duo will perform as part of the vendor show’s opening ceremony.  The carnival will take place from 10-2, with volunteers from local businesses and members of the AFV board attending the booths. Games will be $1 each, with an all-you-can-play wristband option.

Phyl Campbell, owner/operator of The Rage Room-York and VP of AFV said, “It’s so wonderful to have the Peaceful Partners partner with us and be so open and welcoming. Businesses that share space and parking lots should collaborate more.” The Rage Room-York will be open to walk in raging and splatter painting from noon to 8PM. Peaceful Partners will have many different spa and beauty treatments available Sunday. They have also secured the Taco Bus, a food truck with gluten free and vegan options, for their Spring Fling Event.

Donations are encouraged at the Game-A-Thon, pay what you can to play the RPGs, as proceeds will support families who need to access therapies not covered by health insurance, ensuring individuals access the care they need and deserve.
